US 101 Timelapse

This is a timelapse of the entire US 101 heading north, from Los Angeles, CA to Olympia, WA. I shot it over four days using a mounted DSLR and an intervalometer. The striking contrasts of the drive could not be any better curated, as the diversity in Western US landscape reminds me of driving around Iceland, and Sigur Rós was indeed the official soundtrack of the 4-day trek. The piece is intentionally long as it initially played as a background installation. The point is for the viewer to experience moments versus watching the entire video, though anyone is welcome to live it if they so choose.
