Created and taught the first-ever video journalism course for Semester at Sea. Students came from a variety of majors, schools and countries. Most of them beginning the course without a background in media, they learned how to produce multimodal stories using video, audio and photography while traveling around the world via ship. This video was produced by the Fall 2010 course to open the onboard "SeaNN" film festival. SeaNN was the news network we created that aired around the ship in public spaces and nightly in each passengers cabin.
